Recon Brewing To Open Second Taproom In Cranberry Township In 2020

If you haven’t heard the folks at Charter Homes have built a townhome community known as “Meeder” in Cranberry Township, PA. Why is this important to a craft beer website? Because this community will also soon be home to Recon Brewings second location!

Coming in 2020, Recon Brewing will be opening their second taproom at Meeder. The new space is located at 2530 Rochester Road in Cranberry Township.

Based in Butler, PA, Recon was established in February 2016 by 3 friends that met through the Butler Township fire service. Toby Wehr, Dave Bestwick and Nate Bacher set out on a mission to start a brewery that would focus on high quality brews known for their drinkability and value.

Their “drink local” mentality means that all materials, supplies, equipment, and even design are sourced locally. Recon has quickly become a favorite local spot known for their involvement in the Butler community. Now they’re excited to bring that same community spirit to Cranberry and the Meeder neighborhood.

Recon Brewing will be joined by other small, locally owned businesses at the Crossroads at Meeder, all offering neighbors an experience unlike anything else they can find in the suburbs.

To keep up with the growth of the new location follow the brewery on social media at their Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages. Also check out the video announcement of the space here.
