Ten Breweries, One Beer: Independence PA Hits The Brew Barons Trail

Pennsylvania breweries have teamed up again, and this time they’re pouring Independence PA, a 4.1% ABV pale ale released in collaboration with Visit Hershey/Harrisburg as part of the Brew Barons Beer Trail, brewed in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

Built for easy drinking with real depth of flavor, Independence, PA, starts with locally grown flaked corn from Double Eagle Malt for its base, plus a hearty dose of flaked oats for a soft, creamy mouthfeel. It’s then delicately dry-hopped with Amarillo, El Dorado, and Simcoe, delivering sweet grapefruit, bright orange citrus, and a resinous pine finish.
