Due to the current events going on Philly Loves Beer has made the decision to cancel Opening Tap for 2020. You can read the announcement the organization made over Facebook below.
Opening Tap is the official start of the organization’s 10-day beer week celebration. The event is known for hosting more than 60 breweries (many local), live music, and a plethora of delicious beers in a traditional beer fest setting.
The event is also known for the first tapping of that year’s version of Brotherly Suds Beer. As regulars to the event itself, we know it will be missed for sure.
As the post mentions above, there are no plans to cancel Philly Beer Week. We will update as more information is available.
