633 Brewing In Waynesboro Expands Taproom By Doubling Space (See Inside)

633 Brewing, owned by business partners Kevin Barrick and Heather Weeks, first opened its doors in February 2021 at 118 Walnut Street in Waynesboro. And after a little over one year in business, the brewery has already expanded its taproom, doubling in size.

The brewery recently added an additional 3,100 sq/ft by opening in the space connected to their current taproom. This brings 633’s total footprint to around 6,000 sq/ft. The reason for the expanded space was made to accommodate large parties, weddings, and special events.

As we learned from speaking with the brewery, this area goes back to the early days of Waynesboro history. “Throughout you will find donated memorabilia from the town’s rich history. A large wood burning fireplace dominates one wall as well as a bookcase filled with games donated by a local customer. to play” said owner Heather Weeks.

The expansion “pays homage to both old and new styling with an eclectic and fun atmosphere” Weeks continued to add.

The physical expansion is not the only growth coming from the Waynesboro brewery. In addition to the added square footage, they have also added an expanded food menu which was created by Heather. The new menu includes light, fresh fare such as sandwiches, appetizers, and a weekly dessert special.

You can visit them to experience all they have to offer on Walnut Street. Or follow them on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with their growth yourself.
