Downtown Nazareth officially has a new spot for beer lovers and foodies.
Nazareth Brewing Company opened its doors in July 2025, at 35 E Belvidere St. in Nazareth, PA, bringing a mix of classic beer styles, a chef-driven food menu, and a two-story pub atmosphere to the Lehigh Valley.
Behind the brewery are co-owners Breandon Velazquez, Alyssa Sablich, and Dan Garcia. While Breandon carries the title of head brewer, all three bring years of hospitality and industry experience to the brewery. Their backgrounds span restaurant management across the Lehigh Valley and beyond, with experience in the craft spirits and beer industry, including stints with well-known brands such as River Horse and Stateside.
Like many brewers, Breandon’s journey started humbly, with him gifting his father-in-law a homebrew kit. After a bit of “brewing envy,” he picked up a system himself and was hooked immediately. Years of experimenting led him to pursue brewing on a commercial scale.
The team didn’t just want to open a brewery; they wanted to create an experience. The building they took over had sat vacant for several years after a previous concept folded, and the rustic, historic feel of the space was too good to pass on. Today, it houses Nazareth’s two full-service bars on two floors, seating for about 140 guests, and a brewhouse that is already producing more beer than anticipated in its first few opening months.
With 10 taps, you can expect to find a clean pilsner, a malt-forward ESB, a traditional stout, and an approachable IPA among the flagships. And while the beer is front and center, the food program is what sets Nazareth Brewing apart.
Instead of relying on food trucks, the owners leaned into their restaurant background. The kitchen puts out dishes like fall-off-the-bone ribs, salmon filet, and even a New York strip steak, items you don’t often see in a brewery setting. “For us, it’s about more than just good beer,” Breandon says. “It’s about creating a full dining experience.”
Guests will also find cocktails made with Pennsylvania spirits, rotating weekly food and drink specials, live comedy nights, and even early-morning openings on weekends for Premier League soccer fans.
Plans are already in motion to add limited outdoor seating and packaged beer to-go through partnerships with nearby canning operations.
Located in the heart of downtown Nazareth, just a short drive from Bethlehem, Easton, and Allentown, the space offers locals and visitors a chance to enjoy a pint in a cozy, historic pub setting.
Martin Guitar is also right up the road, and the brewery has been displaying a few guitars in-house, so don’t be surprised if a collaboration beer is announced soon.
Though only a couple of months old, Nazareth Brewing Company is already carving out its spot as both a community gathering place and a beer destination. With traditional styles, elevated food, and a family-friendly atmosphere, it’s a welcome new addition to the Lehigh Valley beer scene.
