Scott here, with a little peek behind the curtain… if you’re interested:
Small businesses typically operate without a whole lot of cushion. The holidays can be a wonderfully busy time, requiring a lot of extra hours and effort to get it all working properly. And of course, there’s the need to manage all the extra holiday stuff going on in our personal lives at the same time.
But with every peak comes a valley. (I’m looking at YOU, dry January. ?)
As business owners, we strive to keep our staff fully employed and earning for their households all year round, because well… it’s our responsibility. Or at least that’s how we see it here.
You may have noticed a bunch more event activity in our calendar lately, and that’s because we’re actively working to keep things rolling strong during what has historically been a slow time of year.
So, when someone like Staci here makes the conscious decision to bring a bunch of new faces out, to pack the house on an otherwise cold and sleepy Sunday, it makes a huge difference for us.
It really matters. Like REALLY.
We know you have lots of choices about where you spend your time, and we’d be foolish to think we don’t have to earn your attention every single time we get it. So I just wanted to take a moment here to say thank you for spending some of it with us: For bringing the family in for dinner and a couple of beers, for taking a Grains to Glass Tour, or Beer Belly Yoga class. Or for just bringing that coworker who just moved to Pittsburgh over for a beer during happy hour.
It means the world to us. Because we really couldn’t do any of this without you. You rock!
