Barrel Splitters And Erie Brewing Have Announced A Partnership

Barrel Splitters Brewing and Erie Brewing Company have recently announced a partnership

As a newer brewery in the Philadelphia region (under 2 years old), Barrel Splitters has been looking to grow. The timing was right when Erie Brewing’s local territory manager approached the owners at Barrel Splitters.

“Our goal is to expand handles in the spring, which will allow the partnership to grow even further by providing more Erie offerings along with beers made right in our veteran-owned Northeast Philly taproom.” – Brad Adams, Owner of Barrel Splitters Brewing

What Does This Mean?

This partnership will allow Barrel Splitters to offer a wider variety of beer, both draft, and to-go. Erie Brewing will also be able to distribute its beer further in the Greater Philly market, and its beer will be available on draft and for takeout at Barrel Splitters location.

Barrel Splitters will still be brewing small batches onsite for draft at their location, and are hoping to increase production and get some kegs up to Erie.

Why The Partnership?

Erie Brewing was looking to get further into the Philadelphia market, and partnering with an existing taproom that offered the atmosphere most compatible with their brand, seemed to be a great way to flood the local market.
