Philly Beer Week is here! And the 10 day beer celebration starts with the legendary Philly Beer Week party known as Opening Tap. Which will take place Friday, May 31st at 2300 Arena starting at 6:30 for VIP or 7:30 for General Admission. Get $5 off your ticket with code “HOGALERT” (case sensitive).
The Biergarten Begins!
Join Root Down Brewing (Phoenixville) as they officially launch their Biergarten! Join them saturday, June 1st from 11:00 am – 10:00 pm for the all day party. BBQ will be offered by Uncle B’s and live music from Tom Guest (2:00 – 5:00 pm) and Tom Flott (6:00 – 9:00 pm)

Lobster Feast at Spring Gate
Join Springate Vineyard and Brewery (Harrisburg) on Sunday, June 2nd for their Lobster Feast during their Cheesy Food Truck Festival! Aside from another great pairing with Chardonnay, you should consider the Brewery and do the Belgian Blonde with a lobster dish. Whichever way you decide to pair it, you have many choices from their selection of wine, cider, and beer.
Yoga at Newfangled Brew Works
Join Newfangled Brew Works (Harrisburg) on Sunday, June 2nd at 10:00 am for their next Yoga class. Come check out the beautiful new brewery at Newfangled Brew Works in Union Station and join Karen East for a fun Vinyasa Yoga flow. 6th Anniversary Pig Roast
Hung-N-Thirst (Lancaster) hosts their 6th Anniversary Pig Roast on Saturday, June 1st and you are invited to help them chow down! The roast pig will be available starting at 5:00 pm with two sides. Join Strange Roots at their Pittsburgh taproom on Sunday, June 2nd for a one of a kind tacollaboration with some of the city’s best food trucks. You’ll get a chance to sample classic options from traditional taco trucks, as well as innovative takes on the genre from some unexpected food truck heavyweights.
IronStone Meadery 1 Year Anniversary
Come out to IronStone Meadery (Erie) on Saturday, June 1st and help them celebrate turning 1 years old. Siri Thai food truck will be out from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm (or whenever she runs out of food) and they will have their usual hi-jinx and incredible mead flowing. They will be offering 10% off glass drinks and bottles in celebration!!
Highmark International StrEAT Festival
The DowntownCDC is proud to announce Highmark’s International StrEAT Festival, June 1st and 2nd, 2019. The Festival will span across two weekend days and will be located between Stanwix and 7th Street on Penn Avenue (Pittsburgh). The streets will be lined with vendors from all over the Southwestern Pennsylvania Region. In addition, we will have stage performances, eating contests, cooking demonstrations, games and more!
