We would ask for judges to be available to judge for at least roughly 2.5 – 3 hours (more if needed). Judging would start at approximately 11:30 AM EST on the dates above. (10:30 AM in the case of the Von C event because that event starts earlier than the others). Our format will work as such:
- Beer submissions will be split into similar category flights. We are accepting beer submittals per the 2021 BJCP guidelines. Because we are accepting a wide variety of styles not every beer in each flight will be the same style. However, they will be as closely matched up as possible per each flight. (Meaning you may judge a Pilsner and Amber Lager in the same flight but not a Lager and Oatmeal Stout).
- We will then take the top selections from each flight and they will be judged against one another in a “Best of Show” style where we will pick the first, second and third best beer of the day
