Broken Goblet Is Opening A New Location Unlike Any Other

Broken Goblet, the Bristol, PA brewery you have come to love, and the makers of “No One Likes Us We Don’t Care” and other favorites, is opening a new location!

This new location will be in Bensalem at 2500 State Road.

But this new location isn’t just another brewery with a taproom. In addition to the shiny brand new 10bbl brewhouse and 20bbl fermenters and brite tanks, this location is an entertainment venue. That’s right: live entertainment with a full stage set up.

We met with Co-Owner Mike LaCouture for a tour, and he let us in on a pretty cool fact, the stage they have is none other than David Bowie’s old touring stage that was sold to a venue in Philadelphia years ago. Taken apart and reassembled in this new space, BG has added professional sound and lighting equipment, including more sound equipment than some of the popular concert venues in Philadelphia!

All of this allows BG to accommodate 350 people for live music and comedy events, game shows, sporting events and more as well as the ability to host private events.

In addition to the entertainment, this new location boasts a downstairs bar with 20 taps and seating for around 20, as well as a second bar upstairs with 16 taps and a more cozy atmosphere with recycled church pew booths and an amazing view of the entertainment.

And wait, there’s more! Out back there is a large patio where there will be room for lots of outdoor seating, fire pits, and room for games as well as outdoor music events.

It hasn’t been easy getting to this point, however. BG has suffered through over 10 months of delays due to a landlord/township error with the sewer plans. They appear to be over that hurdle, and everything is pointing to a spring grand opening.

We are looking forward to BG opening this new space and enjoying some live entertainment there!
