Croaker’s Brewing Company is opening a new taproom in downtown Sharon, PA. The ETA for the taproom to open is Spring 2023.
The new taproom is located at 74 North Sharpsville Avenue in Sharon, PA, a little over 20 minutes north of their original taproom in New Castle, PA.
We recently spoke with co-owner Mara Palipchak to learn more about the new space for Croaker’s, and what beer fans can expect.
Mara told us that their old taproom in New Castle is closed, and will remain for beer production only. The long-term plan is to move everything over to the new location in Sharon when possible. Mara and her husband Chris Pailpchak, also own Croaker’s Homebrew Shop. Currently, it is pick-up only in New Castle, but the plan is also to move this side of the business to Sharon.
The Sharon location is a 1940s-era building that was once a motorcycle repair ship. And as Mara told us, she will theme it in retro 80s. In the plans are pinball machines, old stand-up arcade games, and Atari games, to give it a very 80s feel. There will also be TVs playing 80s music videos among other things.

The 2,400 sq/ft taproom will have space for about 70 people and will feature a 37 ft. bar with about 12-14 taps. They will pour their own beer and some local cider and have limited PA spirits, wines, and slushies. Croakers will also be partnering with food trucks and food vendors.
“During the pandemic, we got stuck where we were. We looked at a couple of other areas but wanted a location not saturated already by breweries. Sharon has a lot of nice programs coming to the area, with 4 more businesses moving in soon. With the area revitalizing, we wanted to get in early!”, says co-owner Mara Palipchak
Make sure to keep up with Croaker’s Brewing Company by following them on Facebook and Instagram. They are currently doing pop-up events in Sharon to pour their beers. We will follow up once they open this new location!
