Levante Brewing Company (West Chester) officially re-opens the Levante Stables Friday, February 14th. You may recall we reported in February of 2018 that Levante announced they would not be re-opening The Stables for the summer.
The Stables will open at 4:00 PM at 160 Park Road in Chester Springs.
We recently sat down with Levante co-owner Jim Adams to learn more about the decision to reopen this 40,000 sq/ft property and to make it a year-round taproom and beer garden for the brewery.
“When we closed Levante Stables back in 2018, it left a hole in our hearts. We knew we created something special for the community and then felt that we took it away from them. It has never sat well with us, it was an emotional exit and we vowed that if we had another chance, we’d bring it back, but this time much better.”, said Jim Adams, Co-Owner Levante Brewing Company.
Jim further stated, “Back in 2017, we had a temporary conditional use for the land and we couldn’t meet the requirements at the time to keep Stables open. The landowner and the township have made significant enhancements and structural investments to provide us a second chance to rekindle the magic of this very special place.”
The Stables has undergone extensive renovations to expand the amount of indoor space and seating located within the 19th-century historic farmhouse and barn property. During the Winter and into early Spring, they will offer a warm and cozy indoor atmosphere with plenty of seating, and indoor restrooms. You’re also welcome to venture outside to their patio during the winter months. There is now a large parking lot as well on-site with parking for over 100 cars.
The interior of the building has a large bar with 32 taps available. Cans and crowlers to go will be offered as always (every can release from the brewery will be made available at The Stables), there will be gluten-free options available (cider/wine), Levante Revibe seltzer will be on hand, and other local Pennsylvania mixed drinks will be found as well.

For food, the brewery plans to utilize a schedule of great rotating food trucks, that their Carter Drive location is also know for.
