Hemauer Brewing To Release “Black Is Beautiful” Friday Oct. 9th…With A Pumpkin Twist

As we have continuously been reporting on, over fifty breweries in Pennsylvania have released their own versions of the Black Is Beautiful beer. As a reminder, you can read more about the country-wide initiative here.

You can add the team at Hemauer Brewing (Mechanicsburg, PA) to those many releases. The brewery recently announced over social media that they will have the beer for sale on Friday, October 9th.

While many breweries have been producing the beer close to the 10% Imperial Stout original recipe, the central PA brewery is offering a slight twist. Hemauer’s version of this imperial stout comes in at 8.5% with the addition of pumpkin spice.

Proceeds from this release will go towards the Central PA ACLU. You can learn more about the organization here.

The beer will be available both on draft and four-packs to go. The folks at Harris Family Brewery will also be at the brewery during the release to talk to guests about their project and selling merchandise.
