Homebrew Con is coming to Pittsburgh June 23-25, 2022.

The American Homebrewers Association is hosting it’s 44th annual convention featuring experts in homebrew, cider, mead, and fermentation. The convention will attract homebrewer’s from across the nation for seminars, beer judging, and social events. It has been described as the perfect place to learn more about homebrewing and all things beer, mead or cider.

The American Homebrewers Association (AHA) has more than 46,000 members and has been part of the homebrewing community since 1978. The association hosts The National Homebrew Competition as a centerpiece of the convention each year. The 2022 competition will take place over the course of the three day convention and will name a first, second, and third place medal for each category. For the first time, this year’s competition will include a Gluten-Free Beer category.

The organization is expecting over 2,000 homebrewers to make the trip to the Steel City. Additionally, Homebrew Con will be working with the Pittsburgh Brewers Guild with more details expected to be released closer to the event.

Registration for the conference begins March 23rd and is open to members of the American Homebrewers Association or Brewers Association.
