Introducing The Launch Of The Lancaster Brewers Guild

Anytime you get a group of brewers together to fight for the good of one another it should be celebrated. This is why we are thrilled to announce the news of the official launch of the Lancaster Brewers Guild.

We recently spoke with the guild’s President Ryan Foltz (Pour Man’s Brewing) to learn more about their mission, goals, and what consumers can expect from the new organization. As you will see from our conversation below, Lancaster is in for quite the treat in 2021 and beyond.

BiPA: What is the mission/ goal of the organization?

Ryan: The goal of the guild is to grow Lancaster Counties’ brewing community. This will be a resource for both the breweries and also the beer consumers who live in or visit Lancaster county.


BiPA: Which breweries are involved?

Ryan: At this point, we have had involvement from almost every brewery in Lancaster county and also some breweries that are planning to open very soon!


BiPA: What does the leadership of the guild look like?

Ryan: The board for the guild is made up of

President: Ryan Foltz (Pour Man’s Brewing Company)
Vice President: Robbie Tarves (Our Town Brewery)
Chair Position: Mike Brubaker (Moo-Duck Brewery)
Chair Position: Mark Braunwarth (Lancaster Brewing Company)
Chair Position: Adam Chamberland (Cartel Brewing & Blending)
Chair Position: Jamie Lowell (Twisted Bine Beer)
Secretary: Mike King (Pour Man’s Brewing Company)


BiPA: What can consumers expect from the guild?

Ryan: Some of the big plans we have that beer drinkers will be excited about include an interactive Ale trail and planning a Lancaster Breweries week. You can expect to see details on the Ale trail and breweries week in early 2021.
