Mad Elf On The Shelf is a fundraiser for the front of house staff at Troegs who have been out of work due to the pandemic.

Roughly 50 employees at the brewery were temporarily laid off, or have had a major decrease in wages due to the restrictions put in place.

These employees almost exclusively rely on service tip income, including but not limited to: bartenders/servers, barbacks, and counter staff. The fundraising goal is $25,000, and if they meet it, can evenly distributing $500 to each person involved.

A few of the employees, hoping to raise the spirits of their co-workers, came together to organize this effort. And Caroline Voorhis, a bartender at the Hershey based brewery, designed the artwork for this fundraiser that is used in the header.
