For the second year in a row, Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company is releasing a beer benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation called Pints for Poppy. The event will take place at NCBC’s taproom in Dublin on Sunday, May 21st, from 12-7 PM.
Named after a co-owners niece who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, Pints for Poppy is a bright and refreshing wheat beer best enjoyed with friends and family with an ABV of 5.2%. It is a classic Bavarian Style Hefeweizen conditioned on fresh cherry puree and hibiscus flowers.
An opening bouquet of banana, clove, and floral hibiscus gives way to a soft cereal grain character with a hint of fruity sweetness and a tart finish.
During the beer release event, 20% of purchases of Pints for Poppy and 10% of all other beer sales will go to support Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Additionally, the event will feature a DJ and photo booth, bouncy house, and kids’ activities, plus lawn games, raffle baskets, homemade dog treats, and more!
