New Trail And Other Half Announce “Pennsylvania Nights” Collab

New Trail and Other Half are proud to announce their first collaboration together – Pennsylvania Nights Hazy DIPA.

While Other Half Brewing may have just recently opened in Pennsylvania, their relationship with New Trail goes back years, and it’s finally time they got together and brewed a beer! Pennsylvania Nights stands as a tribute to New Trail’s home state, and a very warm welcome to Other Half’s recent addition, located in Philadelphia.

Pennsylvania Nights is hopped with some of the best Southern Hemisphere hops they’ve ever worked with – Nelson Sauvin & Nectaron and rounded out with some favorites from the Pacific Northwest – Citra & Centennial. This Hazy Double IPA clocks in at 8.5% with notes of deep citrus, juicy nectarine & fleshy white grape.

The two breweries came to the name and style of the artwork through collaboration as well. The name stems from a famous Hip Hop lyric which Other Half often uses in their naming process while staying true to New Trail’s outdoor and adventures branding styles. The label is a combination of New Trail’s style with the color palette and direction of Other Half.

Pennsylvania Nights will be available throughout the state of Pennsylvania through New Trail’s regular distribution footprint as early as October 31st. Both New Trail and Other Half will have Pennsylvania Nights available to go in their Pennsylvania-based Tasting Rooms as well as on draft. Make sure to watch both brewery’s social pages for when it’s available in taprooms.

“Recalling old recipes and chatting about the early days of Hazy IPA with Sam was a blast, he and I chatted for a long time about how we wanted to blend our similar styles and processes. I am stoked to see this beer come out.”Mike LaRosa, New Trail Director of Brewing Operations & Partner

“The beer turned out awesome, Nectaron is a newer hop for us to work with and it was extremely interesting to blend it with our Hand Selected varieties from the Pacific Northwest; Citra & Centennial” – Rusty Williams New Trail Production Manager

“We were stoked to work with New Trail on the project and are really happy with the final product. It’ll be a pleasure to host these guys soon to work on another beer!” – Andrew Burman Other Half Chief Operating Officer
