We first brought you the news that New Trail was bringing you the Expedition Pack in January. This pack released at the end of January and saw wide popularity among craft beer fans. We then wrote about the second Expedition Pack in February.
Expedition Pack Trek Three will be in the same format as the first two: a pack of twelve 12oz cans, and contain 4 collabs – 3 cans each. The variety pack will be available inside of New Trail’s wholesale footprint covering the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The third Expedition Pack will feature Sterling Pig Brewery of Media, Levante Brewing of West Chester, Voodoo Brewery of Meadville, and Ever Grain Brewing of Camp Hill.
The Beers:
Wild Boar – (5.5%) is a Schwarzbier brewed with Mike LaRosa’s mentor and friend Brian from Sterling Pig. Brewed with Germanic Pale and dark malts. Lightly hopped with Tettenang. Expect a crisp and fresh black lager with light toasty notes. Embark on the Expedition.
Valley of Haze – (6.6%) a Hazy IPA brewed with Levante Brewing. Brewed with light wheats and oats. Intensely hopped with Crystal, Idaho 7, and Mosaic. Expect deep berry and citrus notes backed by lush tropicals.
Slack Packers – (8.5%) a Hazy Double IPA brewed with Ever Grain. Brewed with lush oats. Drippily hopped with Sabro, Citra, & Chinook. Expect sweet tropical candy backed with dank green.
Layered – (10.2%) a German Chocolate Cake inspired Imperial Stout brewed with Voodoo. Brewed with many layers of Chocolate and Caramel malts. Conditioned on heaps of Vanilla, Pecan, Cao Cao Nibs, & Coconut. Expect decadent chocolate notes, backed with rich vanilla, lush coconut, and deep pecan.
Release Details:
The pack will begin to hit some shelves as early as Wednesday, March 17th, and continue to hit shelves into, and through the following weeks.
These packs will be available at New Trail’s Tasting Room as well as the participating breweries (check with each to see when they will be arriving). New Trail’s packs will be available at their Tasting Room on Friday at 3pm.
