Rebel Hill To Open Second Phoenixville Taproom Saturday, Nov 5th

The time for the opening of Rebel Hill Brewing’s second taproom is here. The Chester County brewery officially opens its new space on Saturday, November 5th at 240 Bridge Street, in what many beer fans will remember as the former Crowded Castle Brewing location.

This 5,000 sq/ft building is located in the heart of town and will complement Rebel Hill’s original location just up the street at 420 Schuylkill Rd. Suite 100. The 420 taproom at Westside will be open as usual, and the brewery has some big plans in the future for this space, including adding a wood fire kitchen to where the existing brewery was.

In this new space, the brewery will be able to double its capacity with a brand new 10 BBL brewhouse with eight 10 BBL fermenters. They will also be taking delivery of a 10 BBL Foeder for Saisons, two 10 BBL horizontal lagering tanks, and will be installing a canning line. With the increased output of beer, Rebel Hill will also be looking to expand distribution in 2023.

The location currently has a 16-person, 14-tap bar, space for 27 tables, and seating for around 90. They will also be adding 2 hand pumps at the bar for cask ales, and 2 side-pull taps for lagers. The current kitchen will be expanded, and Rebel Hill will be serving a wide range of elevated pub food, with items such as smash burgers and wings.⁣ There will also be seating on the sidewalk and space for about 10 tables.

Join them for their grand opening Saturday, November 5th. And keep up with all of their growth by following Rebel Hill on both Facebook and Instagram.
