If you look online, or go to buy tickets, it appears as if this weekends Steel City Beer Fall Festival is still planned as normal. However rumors have been swirling that the event is actually canceled. Multiple requests for comment by Steel City Wholesalers have not been returned to confirm.
Why is this noteworthy? In case you missed it, the owner of Steel City Wholesalers (who is set to host the event) recently made headlines when he decided to take to social media to blast a competing event as well as a Pittsburgh craft brewery.
The individual behind the video scrubbed his social media of the incident. However satirical blog Worst Beer Blog captured it all. Below is the screenshot, accompanied by the video in which the festival made the comments.

While tickets for the Fall Festival can still be purchased, it appears as Steel City Wholesale is walking away from the event. They have stopped marketing the event over social media, however, as of this writing, have not commented publicly on whether the event is happening as planned or not.
According to one of our readers, the e-mail below is being sent to ticket holders confirming the cancellation (h/t Brooke Franus on Facebook):
If you have tickets to the event, we’d love to hear from you.
