South County Brewing Expands To Lancaster City

South County Brewing Company is excited to announce its latest expansion with a new location in the heart of Lancaster City.  Co-owners Sam and Kellee Terroso are transforming the iconic Pressroom at 26 West King Street in the city of Lancaster into the brewery’s third location.  Set to open in early 2025 and located in the historic Steinman Hardware building, this venture represents an exciting new on-premises market for South County.

South County Brewing currently operates successful locations in Fawn Grove and York Township, where its innovative brews and laid-back rustic environments have earned a loyal following.  This new Lancaster venue will bring the same dedication to quality, creativity, and local engagement to a broader audience.  The revitalized Pressroom location will offer an inviting setting for South County’s acclaimed beers, expanded scratch kitchen offerings and a distinctive spirits program.

“We are thrilled to bring South County to the City of Lancaster and to have the opportunity to revive such a cherished space.” said Sam Terroso, South County CEO. “We look forward to creating a new home where both locals and visitors can enjoy great beer paired with a great menu in the center of this incredible city.  [Co-owner] JR [Heaps] and our production team have done an amazing job with the entire South County portfolio including consistent fan favorites and innovative new offerings.  Lancaster has always supported the South County brand and our growth.  Being able to further share it in a vibrant market and in a truly classic setting is exciting for all of us.”

The new venue will feature a wide selection of South County’s renowned craft beers and cocktails alongside a full menu of fresh American pub fare specializing in BBQ and artisan pizza.  Designed with the community in mind, the venue will host live music and have additional large party seating.  The private event space is undergoing a full makeover and bar expansion.  In the Spring of 2025, the unique Steinman Park courtyard will re-open providing an inviting and dynamic full service outdoor experience for guests.

Reflecting on South County’s journey, CFO Kellee Terroso added, “In 2020, we embraced the challenges of expanding into the hospitality space and have since built a dedicated team and refined our menu at our York location.  Our retail distribution footprint has also significantly expanded.  Opening this third location in Lancaster City is a fantastic opportunity to bring South County’s unique experience to even more people.  The classic venue and community energy of Lancaster fits exactly where we want to grow.”
