After nine years in business, St. Boniface Craft Brewing Co. is opening a second location. Tied House, which officially opens Wednesday, June 17th, will set a new standard in hospitality as related to the limited-brewery license concept. This restaurant will not only bring locally produced beer back to Rudy’s Hall, at 27-31 E Main Street, but will also seek to add a high-quality wine and spirits program based on the ability to sell PA wines and spirits.
Tied House, taking its name from the British system of brewery owned pubs, is one aspect of what St. Boniface will bring to Rudy’s Hall. The basement space, which has its own entrance from Main Street, will be dubbed the Narthex and will feature small bites along with drinks that will make it a perfect stop before or after dinner. Additionally, the second floor will be utilized as an event space in the coming months.
Dain Shirey, one of the owners of St. Boniface, is “excited to be a part of the vibrant and growing Lititz community.” “Tied House will be unique from our current location in Ephrata,” says owner Michael Price, as St. Boniface will continue to brew and operate their taproom in Ephrata. “We have had so much support from our surrounding communities since we opened, including residents from Lititz, it only made sense to stay local and do something a little different,” explains owner Jonathon Northup.
It is important to note that construction in the main dining room is not complete, however that didn’t stop the opening. All take out food and beer will be served out of the basement. They ask that you enter by the building by descending the staircase to the right of the main street-level entrance. Appropriate signage will point the way. Curbside pickup is available for those who need assistance, please inform them when ordering.
