As has been shared around the web recently; distilleries possess the equipment to produce their own hand sanitizer. Which is being used to help during the Covid-19 crisis. Tattered Flag (brewery and distillery in central PA) has joined in to help with the pandemic.
The brewery recently announced the news; “While we are still doing to-go food, beer, spirits, and coffee, we have shifted all available resources to emergency sanitizer and disinfectant production during this unique time of need. As Pat just told me, “If this thing is going to take us down, we are going to help as many people as we can before it does.” As can be seen in this Facebook post.
The post also goes on to say they are in need of donations to help move this forward. “We need as much After Sun Gel (like pictured below) as we can get our hands-on. We will gladly take donations. If you do drop off donations and want to grab a burger or a latte while you’re here, every little bit will help us keep this thing going a little longer.”
