Twisted Gingers To Mark 1-Year Anniversary In Ambler

Twisted Gingers Ambler – Industrial Lounge, located at 13 South Ridge Avenue, is set to commemorate 1 year since its opening in downtown Ambler’s historic business district. On Saturday, May 2, the Twisted Gingers team will be offering celebratory drink specials and a wide array of beers.

Twisted Gingers started as a neighborhood taproom in Manayunk, named in honor of owner Mark Mayer and his daughter, who are both gingers. When the pandemic hit shortly after opening their doors in 2019, Mark and his team needed to pivot. Inspired by his father, who quit trade school to make pizzas at the family-owned former Sayerville Bar, Mark introduced Brewhouse Pizzas, which are now a staple at Twisted Gingers Manayunk.

In 2025, Twisted Gingers’ next chapter began in Ambler. The Ambler Industrial Lounge offers relaxed seating inside a much larger and more advanced brewhouse, giving sneak peeks into the brewing operations.

At the same time, numerous food options are available from Ridge Hall, right under the same roof. By leveraging Ridge Hall’s diverse culinary offerings, Mayer has successfully integrated craft beer production with a comprehensive, multi-vendor hospitality model.
