Voodoo Brewery Co To Expand By Opening Ninth Location In Houston, PA Later This Summer

Join us in congratulating Voodoo Brewing Co which will soon be opening its ninth location in Pennsylvania. The Voodoo Brewing West Pike Pub will open at 23 West Pike Street in Houston, PA later this Summer.

We recently spoke with Voodoo Brewing partner Jake Voelker to understand more about the space, and some of the work it took to get to this point.

Voelker confirmed that expanding into Washington County was something the brand had been considering for quite some time. “For years have had people reach out from Washington County with interest in bringing our brand to the area. So we are extremely excited to be a part of the local community.

The new location, which will be independently owned and operated, will be housed in a 5,500 square foot building. An additional 1,200 square feet on the outside will allow the new Voodoo taproom to offer seasonal outdoor seating to guests.

Speaking with Nathan McCutcheon, who along with his wife Aubrey and business partners Jason and Joanna Joseph of Washington, PA are spearheading this location, we learned that the building dates back to 2016 when he himself had originally built it as his family’s construction rental company. They have since moved that business offsite in order to make room for the newest Voodoo Brewing taproom in Pennsylvania.

“We care about the community and plan to host many different events in an effort to bring the community together. We think this business will be a great way to help boost the already growing community within the county” McCutcheon said about what he expects out of the new pub.

The West Pike Pub will offer the type of full menu that Voodoo has become synonymous with all over Pennsylvania. 24 draft beer lines will accompany an onsite kitchen offering a variety of pizza, handhelds, smoked wings, sliders, and more. The menu will even include a rotating variety of BBQ items with their very own smoker on site. Voodoo beer will be infused within the food at every opportunity available.

The pub plans to keep the same Voodoo look and feel while also incorporating its own style. Currently, construction is ongoing to build out this unique location, with plans for them to open this summer.
