Willow Creek Brewing has partnered with the Reading United soccer team for the 2022 season. The brewery is now in the Reading Phils baseball stadium, Reading Royals hockey rink, and the Reading United soccer stadium.
After being approached by the Reading United AC to be the sole provider of beer at their home games, owners Mark and Joanne, of course, agreed! Reading United has created a new beer garden at their new location in Alvernia, and this is the first time in team history that beer will be served during games.
Spectators will be able to enjoy 2 of Willow Creek’s beers: Ugly Dog, Willow Creek’s NEIPA, a 6.4% juicy, hazy IPA, and Reading Union Blonde, a spin on WC’s staple blonde ale, Brooks Fore Ever, a crisp, clean 5.3% Blonde Ale.
Willow Creek is commemorating this partnership with one of their “Steal the Glass Nights” on Wednesday 5/11. The brewery prints pint glasses, one side with their logo, the other side with the logo of a charity or organization they’re partnering with. You are served beer in these glasses, and when you’re done, you try to literally steal the glass. If you get caught by the guards at the doors, you pay for the glass, and the $ goes to the charity of the night.
