The beauty of Pennsylvania craft beer is that breweries and taprooms come in all shapes and sizes. Whether you’re looking for the hole-in-the-wall dive bar, or something a bit more elegant, you can find it here in the keystone state. (Side note; we have a great time at both).
One of those locations that really takes your breath away is Wyndridge Farm, home of the Winding Path Brewing Company.
We recently had the pleasure of touring the over 70+ acre property of Wyndridge Farm, to get a better understanding of what makes this location the ideal spot for a beer vacationer.
One of the items we look for when beer vacationing is the ability to enjoy a visit beyond one day. What makes that possible at Wyndridge is that they have their very own inn onsite allowing guests to stay the night while visiting the area.
The Inn at Wyndridge Farm is a 6,000 sq. ft. farmhouse located a very short walk from their restaurant and brewery. The gorgeous five-bedroom home offers an elegant yet rustic feel.
Imagine the space for yourself as Wyndridge describes the inn “French doors and tall windows throughout the first-floor flood the home with natural light and gorgeous views. The openness between the fully equipped Chef’s kitchen, dining area, and outside stone terrace allows for a seamless way to entertain guests. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need and is ideal for preparing meals during your stay.”
Of course, an overnight stay isn’t enough to make a location a destination visit. Guests must also have an opportunity to enjoy a robust dining experience. And it is here where Wyndridge Farm really shines.
We mentioned above that the Winding Path Brewing Company is housed at Wyndridge. But that isn’t all. The farm also boasts its own cidery and winery as well. Hand-made libations are available through Wyndridge Vines and Wyndridge Cider to provide a trifecta of wine, cider, and beer all being handcrafted.
You pair these offerings with an extremely robust scratch kitchen and there is something to be found for even the pickiest in your party.
Once you’ve grabbed a drink it’s time to really take in the views. Which, again, is another area that Wyndridge excels in. Sitting on 70+ acres allows the farm to provide you with some of the most picturesque views you’ll find in Pennsylvania.
Immediately located outside of the tasting room are views of rolling hills. And in the evening there are personal fire pits for your party to sit and take in the warmth and the serenity of the farm.
With so much to take in at this location, it can be difficult to describe every acre of enjoyment that is offered. This is why we highly recommend you taking the visit the Dallastown, Pennsylvania farm to enjoy for yourself.
We recommend following the brewery on their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages to keep up with all their latest events and updates.
