Beer sales were first approved in Penn State’s Beaver Stadium about 2 years ago, and now it’s getting a beer fest!
Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest, taking place on May 11th, 2024, will feature about 75 craft breweries (see the list below). The event is slated to run from 1-5 PM for General Admission tickets, and if you have VIP tickets, you’ll get in an hour earlier. (See below for full details!)
The Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest’s founding partners include Antifragile Brewing Company, Central Pennsylvania Tasting Trail, The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau, Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance, Brewers Of PA, and the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association.

Ticket holders will also have a DJ and live entertainment throughout the festival. Times for performances will be announced shortly, but acts include Channing Wilson, Rob Snyder, & Dave Kennedy, The Skoal Brothers, Lowjack, Caledonia, and The Cowpoke and The Poet.
In addition to all the beer tasting available, Beaver Stadium will have its concessions stands open on the concourse. These will offer their typical gameday fare of sodas, soft pretzels, cheesesteaks, and of course their world-famous chicken baskets!
Ticket Packages
VIP Ticket
• Standard VIP Pricing is $141.37 per ticket and Day of Event VIP Pricing is $163 per ticket
VIP ticket includes:
• Early entry into the stadium at 12 PM
• Open sampling of 100+ craft beers
• Field access allowing you to walk the field just like the players and coaches do!
• Commemorative drinking vessel and commemorative VIP gift
• DJ and live music/entertainment
• Parking is included in the price of the ticket
General Admission Ticket
• Standard Pricing is $85.49 per ticket and Day of Event Pricing is $107.12 per ticket
General Admission ticket includes:
• Entry into the stadium at 1 p.m.

• Field access allowing you to walk the field just like the players and coaches do!
• Commemorative drinking vessel
• Great DJ and live music/entertainment

Designated Driver Ticket
• Standard Pricing | $23.18 per ticket
Designated Driver ticket includes:
*Designated Driver tickets are only available for purchase AFTER you have purchased a GA or VIP ticket. Additional details will be in your confirmation email. Designated drivers must be at least 21 years old. ID will be checked upon entry into the stadium.*
