We recently met with the folks at Doylestown Brewing Company and they shared with us their plans to expand. And we couldn’t be more excited!
As they told us: “Expansion is well on its way”. It started last year when they moved their brewery to a 6,000 square foot warehouse and now have started moving from their 7 BBL system into a 30 BBL brew house with 60 BBL fermentation! They have already began to sell a few of their tanks; Screech Owl Brewing in West Virginia bought 2 of their 7 BBL brite tanks and a local winery bought one of the others.

Doylestown Brew House
Their new Alpha Brewing Automated canning line has arrived and is on its way to being operational. That’s right…… cans! “With the expansion we plan on contract brewing for a couple of new startups as well as can for some existing local breweries, like Proper Brewing.” said DBC owner Joe Modestine.
They’re currently double batching into 15 BBL fermenters to keep up with demand for their ever popular R5 Lager, Union St IPA and Travis Manion “If Not Me… Then Who” beer.
National Expansion:
Speaking of “If Not Me… Then Who” this beer will now be finding itself distributing across the country!
DBC has signed a national agreement to be the exclusive beer of the popular Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Run. This organization hosts 15+ runs across the country with the goal to never forget the sacrifices of the heroes of September 11th and the wars since: veteran, first responder, civilian and military.
In April, they plan on signing and shipping beer to the TX and NC markets. Also they will be partnering with two local breweries in each of those states to produce their beer for keg sales while they ship their cans to them directly for distribution.
