Pour Man’s Brewing Company is moving its taproom, but don’t worry, they’re not leaving Ephrata!
The Breweries In PA 2022 PA Beer Bracket Champion is moving its taproom to 24 E Main Street in downtown Ephrata. The building dates back to 1912 and was the home to Sprecher’s Hardware for 88 years. Most recently, the space was occupied by Hometown Refurnishing, which is also relocating within Ephrata.
Pour Man’s opened their doors in August of 2018 at their current building at 284 S Reading Road on 272 in Ephrata. Owners Ryan Foltz and Sam Son had this to say about their new taproom.
“We plan to only expand on the history of this amazing building, by preserving the historical features of the Sprecher’s building while also providing a new cozy, and fun place to hang out downtown. The new 8,000 sq/ft taproom will feature two bars on the first floor, with seating for 100+ guests, and a beer garden in the back.
The second floor will be available as a full-service rental event space/additional seating for the taproom and will feature a sky-view bar overlooking downtown Ephrata. We plan to offer 20 of our house-made beers on tap with many options available to go in 4 packs and cases, as well as an expanded cocktail, wine, and cider list. We will also be redesigning our food menu, and plan to focus on locally sourced and produced ingredients to provide a fresh menu that pairs great with our lager-focused brewery!”

Pour Man’s plans to start renovations on the building in early 2023, and hopes to be open in the new space by the summer of 2023. They also plan on keeping the current building to expand brewing operations.
