Tröegs Independent Brewing is ramping up to the culmination of its annual Oktoberfest celebration at the brewery, which is taking place now through Sunday, September 21.
The independent Hershey, PA, brewery has transformed its Tasting Room, Beer Garden, and patio into a festive German beer hall to celebrate the enduring Bavarian tradition of Oktoberfest.
Throughout the celebration, customers can enjoy a special fill of Tröegs’ toasty, crisp seasonal Oktoberfest Lager in a festive 0.5- or 1-liter stein they can take home, while supplies last.

For the duration of the event, the Tröegs Snack Bar will offer Obatzda, a flavorful Bavarian cheese spread paired with beer bread and hard pretzels, as well as a traditional Brotzeit Plate featuring German sausage, a selection of cheeses, beer bread, pickles, and beer mustard.
The event will peak on Saturday, September 20, with an outdoor live musical performance from A Sought Out City between noon and 4 p.m. Other activities throughout the day include performances by Philadelphia Circus Arts, a stein-hoisting contest with prizes awarded to the top male and female contenders, yard games, a meet-and-greet with fluffy cows, and more.

Additionally, the Snack bar will offer traditional German Crispy Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) served with mashed potatoes and beer mustard, while supplies last. Visitors can also experience a special gravity-fed firkin of Oktoberfest Lager.
On Sunday, September 21, the Snack Bar will serve brunch specials from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Oktoberfest Lager is available on draft and in 12-oz. bottles and cans everywhere Tröegs beer is sold. Beer drinkers can locate it near them using the Tröegs Brew Finder.
