If you are not familiar, in September of this month the Barrel And Flow Festival was held in Pittsburgh. An event that is held in an effort to celebrate and showcase black art and black artists through craft beer and other artistic means.
In the aftermath of the festival, the event organizers had accused local brewery Hofbrauhaus of racism towards attendees, vendors, and organizers. Specifically, Hofbrauhaus General Manager Vincent Quinzio was named by the event organizers.

As we originally shared when this incident first became public, roughly 10 hours after the post above, Hofbrauhaus shared its response, which you can see below.

What is not noted in the post above is that shortly after the brewery’s response they had shared that they retained the services of Robert Ridge and Neel Kapur of Philadelphia based law firm Clark Hill PLC. A firm that specializes in a variety of industries which include Food & Beverage, Gaming, Healthcare, Insurance, and more.
In the month since that announcement, the brewery has not spoken publicly about the incident until now. Hofbrauhaus posted the following on Instagram. Which reads, in part, “in the absence of evidence corroborating the allegations, the Hofbrauhaus has decided to provisionally reinstate its manager.”
As you can see from the post above, the announcement confirms that the investigation is ongoing. But there is no word on whether or not the brewery plans to release another statement or move on from the incident based on the findings. As more information is made available we will continue to update.
