We first brought you the news in early August that Anomaly Craft Brewing would be expanding to Williamsport with a second location. Now, the brewery has an opening date.
Anomaly will officially open its new Williamsport taproom on September 2nd at 4 p.m. This will be a soft opening, as a grand opening is planned in the near future.
The brewery has taken over the former Riepstine’s Pub at 913 Arch Street, bringing Anomaly’s house-brewed beers from its Berwick brewery to the Williamsport area.
The new location will feature approximately 10 taps, along with indoor seating, an outdoor patio, and a full kitchen. Anomaly is partnering with Rebz Pizza, which will serve its Detroit-style pizza at the location.
Anomaly first opened in Berwick in 2022 and has become known for its German-inspired lagers, low-ABV beers, rotating seasonal releases, and specialty offerings. The Williamsport location will initially feature beer brewed in Berwick, with plans to eventually add Pennsylvania-made wine and spirits.
