Back Alley Brewing, which was originally planned to open in 2020, is expected to be the first brewery to open in the town of Dormont, PA. The brewery will occupy the former Dormont Municipal Building where they have been working hard to transform the large establishment into a taproom and brew space. After many delays, the crew at Back Alley announced today that they are releasing their first two cans in limited quantities.

The beers are the Back Alley IPA and the Brewed Awakening Blonde Coffee Stout. The brewery describes their IPA as, “a balanced IPA with a thoughtful combination of malty undertones and the signature taste of American hops.” Their stout is brewed to cocoa nibs and aged on fresh coffee and vanilla beans.
