Bloom Brew Opens New Taproom In West Newton

We first brought you the news back in September, that Bloom Brew was working hard on a new taproom in West Newton, just a few hundred feet from their brewery location at 123 North Water Street.

The brewery officially opened this new taproom this past Saturday, December 3rd.

The new 1,800 sq/ft location has a large U-shaped 16-seat bar and offers 18 taps of fresh beer. This space will easily be able to fit around 60 people.

Bloom Brew will continue to partner with food trucks while their kitchen is being built in the new taproom. The menu they are looking to offer will feature high-end sandwiches, cold deli sides, soups, stews, and a variety of specials. The focus will be on large portions at reasonable prices, with no fried food.

The brewery’s original location at 100 Riverside Drive will now become seasonal from May to October, and they also plan to have their “draft wagon” parked outside with 8 taps, featuring a variety of different beers than the 18 taps in the new taproom.

In addition to the new taproom Bloom Brew also recently doubled its brewing production by acquiring a 5BBL brewhouse, in anticipation of the new taproom and additional taps. This increase in brewing capacity will help the brewery keep the variety of beer they’ve become well known for.

Make sure to keep an eye on Bloom Brew’s FacebookTwitter, and Instagram for more progress on the taproom.
