Brotherly Suds 10 will be brewed this year on Tuesday, April 16th at Yards Brewing Company.

Brotherly Suds 10 will be a hoppy wheat beer with lemon zest. Local wheat malt from Deer Creek Malthouse will be used, as well as Lemon Drop and Sorachi Ace hops. The recipe will also be given out to all the collaborating breweries as well.

The group of founding breweries are all participating in the brew day are Yards, Sly Fox, Iron Hill, Flying Fish, Victory, and Stoudt’s.

The recipe formulated by the original group who founded Brotherly Suds, and who continues to manage it, will be shared with all the local breweries who attend. It’s thought that this new ‘open source’ concept will bring some delicious versions of this beer in breweries throughout the area for beer lovers to appreciate.
