Brü Daddy’s Brewing Co. Partners with The Kiffle Kitchen Bakery for TWO Holiday Beer Releases

BRÜ DADDY’S Brewing Company has announced that they have collaborated with the Kiffle Kitchen Bakery in Bath, PA for two holiday beer releases. The two local Lehigh Valley companies have teamed up to create two Kiffle-inspired Double Sour Ales that are perfect for the holiday season. This Friday, 12/2, both Apricot Kiffle Sour & Raspberry Kiffle Sour will be available on draft and in 4-packs to-go at Brü Daddy’s Brewing Co. in downtown, Allentown.

A Kiffle is a traditional Hungarian dessert with a light and flaky rolled croissant-like pastry dough with delicious fruity fillings. The varieties are endless, and they are especially popular around the holiday season. The Kiffle Kitchen Bakery is the world’s largest producer of authentic hand-rolled kiffles. Located in Bath, PA, this family-owned business, started by Lee Kociolek, first opened over 35 years ago in 1985.

Today, Lee’s two sons, Nick and Chris are running the show day to day and the Kiffle Kitchen produces over 10,000 kiffles daily. They ship their fresh, hand-rolled, kiffles across the world and they have been featured, and sold out, on QVC on multiple occasions. To say they are a local favorite in the Valley would be an understatement. Not only do they make the best kiffles around, but they are also known as a great bakery as well.

“We’re super excited and proud to be partnering with The Kiffle Kitchen on this awesome Holiday beer release that really focuses on Supporting Local,” says Kevin Ryan from Brü Daddy’s Brewing Co. “I love kiffles and eat a boatload around this time of year – we’ve been making an extra effort to partner with other local business in aspects of our food menu at the brewpub” he added. “After sharing some kiffles with Todd, our Head Brewer, we got the idea about making a kiffle-inspired sour ale, so we reached out to the Kiffle Kitchen Bakery.”

The Brü Daddy’s team worked directly with Nick at the Kiffle Kitchen Bakery to develop two Kiffle-inspired Double Sour Ales; Apricot Kiffle and Raspberry Kiffle both made with fresh kiffles straight from the Kiffle Kitchen Bakery in Bath, PA. These Double Sours come in at 8% ABV and are made with Apricot and Raspberry, respectively, vanilla, and fresh kiffles. Both Apricot Kiffle and Raspberry Kiffle will be available this Friday at Brü Daddy’s Brewing Co. located in downtown Allentown. Available on draft and 4-packs on 12/2/22.

To make this holiday release even more special, through the weekend, while supplies last Brü Daddy’s Brewing Co. will be serving a free fresh kiffle from the Kiffle Kitchen Bakery with each draft pour served.
