Cellar Works To Open New Taproom In Verona Thursday, December 1st

Back in August, we spoke with Cellar Works Brewing about a new taproom they were building in Verona at 723 Allegheny River Boulevard. The time has come for the grand opening of this space! Cellar Works will open their Verona taproom on Thursday, December 1st.

The 300-square-foot taproom will serve small prepackaged food while offering 8 draft taps of beer, and cider, with the eventual plan to add mead and wine to the menu. Any can releases being held at their main location in Sarver will also be available at this new taproom in Verona.

Locals may remember the building as the former home of Stonewall Cider House. We spoke with brewery co-owner Timothy Bauer who shared how the location came about. As Bauer shared with us, this location kind of just fell in their lap.

“We weren’t looking for this location. Stonewall was moving out, and a former employee of ours who lived nearby suggested that we look into it.” And the rest, as they say, is history.
