Cinderlands Beer To Transform Original Brewery Into “Foederhouse” Opening December 12th

If you’ve followed the Cinderlands Beer Co. story long enough you know they recently expanded their brewery with the opening of the warehouse in May of 2019. Moving brewing operations from the original location to this new, two story brew pub.

While the Warehouse may house the brewery the beer company has kept the original location and will officially be transforming it into the “Cinderlands Foederhouse”.

For those not familiar a foeder is the Dutch word for a large wooden barrel set vertically and used for either long term fermentation or primary fermentation. Many breweries will use a foeder to age large amounts of sour or wild ale beers.

The Cinderlands Foederhouse will be where there brewery will fine-tune saisons, wild ales, and oak-fermented lager beer. Cinderlands is passionate about these styles, which will offer them a location to perfect these styles for many to enjoy.

As the brewery says they will “be rolling out the first pours over the next several weeks and it will all culminate in a grand opening and second anniversary weekend December 12th – 15th. We have lots planned, including bottle releases, beer pairings, brewery tours, workshops, and special guest appearances”
