Dutch Wonderland Has Its First Signature Beer Thanks To Wacker Brewing

Dutch Wonderland, located in Lancaster, PA, has only been offering beer for a short time. The family amusement park added “Penley’s Pub” in the Fall of 2021.

This new outdoor area has many pretzel-themed snack food (giant pretzels, pretzel sandwiches, and pretzel desserts) and also features a selection of craft beer.

Wacker Brewing Company, also located in Lancaster, was asked to brew the first-ever signature beer for Dutch Wonderland.

The 48-acre theme park opened on May 20, 1963, so appropriately the beer was named ’63. It’s a refreshingly crisp Belgian-style beer, perfect for the spring, summer, and autumn. ’63 is made with coriander and orange peel, and with its low 4.7% ABV, it’s simple, light & refreshing. The amusement park now serves these signature pints with an orange slice to complement the flavor profile.

Next time you’re at Dutch Wonderland, stop by Penley’s Pub and enjoy a ’63, made by Wacker Brewing!
