A story that has been over a year in the making has finally come to life as East End Brewing opens its newest taproom in Mt. Lebanon. The new space is settled in Mt. Lebanon’s Washington Road business district at 651 Washington Road located in a large storefront with lots of natural light and a nice setback for sidewalk seating.
While all of the beer production will continue to happen at the Larimer brewery, guests coming to this new South Hills location can expect to find a full spread of East End Brewing beer, cider, hard seltzer, as well as their Barmy Soda Company soda pops, and fruited seltzer waters. The brewery is also making space on the drinks menu for some Pennsylvania-based cocktails, some carefully selected Pennsylvania wines, and a guest beer tap or two.
“Being part of a walking neighborhood, like when we had a spot in the Strip District, is something we’ve been dreaming about for years. We’ve lived here, raised our kids here, and have partnered on some really successful beer events here… So after a while, it feels more like the question is “Why NOT Mt. Lebanon?” – Scott Smith, Owner of East End Brewing.
The brewery went on to say in the initial announcement that there will be “one distinct difference is some additions to our beverage line up” as compared to their main brewery in Larimer. The first of which is a “trio of wines, currently poured by the bottle, from Pittsburgh Winery.” The next, as mentioned above, will be an assortment of cocktails. The brewery is offering “a pair of cocktails from Maggie’s Farm Distillery, as well as Goodlander Cocktail Brewery” and plans to rotate them as “seasonally appropriate.”
East End Chewing will be introduced to the South Hills as well. The menu will be much the same as they offer at the brewery: short and simple, creative and tasty. Mostly focused on pizza, but with an ever changing list of soups, sides, and beer-friendly bar snacks to go with it – including LOTS of vegetarian and vegan options.

SAT: 12:00 – 10:00 PM
SUN: 12:00 – 8:00 PM
