Eleventh Hour Brewing Company opened in September of 2017 in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Located in an old gas grill/gaslight showroom, they operate a 20bbl brewhouse producing a wide variety of beer. The brewery is now celebrating 4 years in business, on Saturday, September 18th from 12PM to 11PM!
To celebrate, the brewery has planned quite a few special beer releases. They will also have 2 food trucks on-site most of the day, see below for details. Sales will start at 12PM on Saturday.
Beer Releases
VOLTAGE: Foeder Beer with Cabernet Grapes (8% ABV)
From the brewery:
Voltage is the product of our shared love for refreshing, accessible wine and beer. Our friends at EH25 wines were gracious enough to let us pick up freshly pressed whole cluster Cabernet grapes, which we macerated for several months in oak with our house foeder beer. We then bottle-conditioned the wine/beer hybrid for a clean, slight carbonation and tiny bubbles.
Our goal was to create something reminiscent of the easy drinking and juicy cool climate wines of Europe and Northern California, blending influence from natural wine and American wild beer, while being easy to access and enjoy. Bright acidity, coupled with a strong backbone of tannins, lending way to a pop of fruit makes for a perfect late summer refresher.
TRIPLE JACK: Triple IPA (10% ABV)
From the brewery:
A triple IPA that only makes an appearance once a year on our anniversary, a 10% ABV version of our beloved flagship Robo Jack, this is a must-have IPA for any IPA lover!
SCHOOL HOUSE ALGEBRA: Golden Sour Ale Aged in Oak Barrels With Fresh Strawberries and Blueberries (7.3% ABV)
From the brewery:
It’s been a while since we have been back-to-school with our School House Series, since all the kids are back in school we thought it was time!
Golden sour ale aged in oak barrels with fresh strawberries and blueberries. NO. 3 in the series, with a collectible hang tag, collect them all for some special swag at the end of this series!
