Wallenpaupack Brewing’s Oktoberfest is right around the corner! To celebrate the event on September 23rd, the brewery is releasing a mixed 4-pack of German-style beers, including 3 new beers!
These mixed-packs will release at the brewery on September 23rd. Mixed packs of these beers will be available for shipping on the same day through WBC’s online store. The shipping mixed packs will include Hawley Hefeweizen and Lake Haze #19 to meet the 6-can shipping minimum. In addition, each beer will be available to distributors on September 29th.
The brewery is also hosting events and fun things at the taproom the entire time from Thursday, September 23rd through Sunday, October 3rd. See below for details!
The Beers!
Festbier (5.5% ABV 26 IBU)
A German-Style Pale Lager that more closely resembles the beers that are served at Oktoberfest in Munich. Designed to be drunk by the liter, Festbier is lighter than our Oktoberfest Märzen with a touch more noble hop flavor and aroma.
Dunkelweizen (5.0% ABV 15 IBU)
Translating to “dark wheat,” this Dunkelweizen is similar to our Hawley Hefeweizen but a little darker in color. Light banana notes backed by a bready, nutty, and chocolaty malt backbone.
Kettle Wrecker Doppelbock (7.6% ABV 26 IBU)
A strong, rich German-Style Lager brewed with imported Munich malt and Magnum hops. Bold flavors of cherry, raisin, and baked bread with a hint of chocolate on the back end.
Oktoberfest (5.9% ABV 24 IBU)
A perfect balance of German malt & hops, our Oktoberfest lager pours a beautiful burnt orange and is an excellent way to celebrate the season.
