Tröegs Independent Brewing is kicking off the cold-weather season with the return of Blizzard of Hops, its most sought-after seasonal IPA. Marking more than ten years as a staple in the family-owned brewery’s lineup, this year’s release comes with eye-catching updated artwork featuring bold typography and vivid winter blues and purples. “The glowing blue and purple colors really capture the spirit of winter,” says Tröegs’ Designer Rachel Conville of the updated label art.

Brewed as a tribute to international hop growers, the 6.4% ABV IPA combines Centennial, Chinook, El Dorado, and Galaxy hops on a pilsner and wheat backbone to yield distinct flavors of spruce tips, juicy pineapple, and orange rind. As brewmaster John Trogner puts it, “It’s the perfect beer to drink while you’re shoveling snow.”

Blizzard of Hops is now available on draft and in 12-oz bottles and cans throughout Tröegs’ entire distribution network.
