Monaca Brewing is ready to open at 1000 Pennsylvania Avenue. The brewery will be holding its grand opening on Friday, March 10th.
We initially profiled the brewery coming to downtown Monaca, back in May of 2022, and some things have slightly changed!
Owners Steve Gates, Benny Dougherty, and James Kazil are opening Monaca Brewing in a 5,000 sq/ft building on Main Street (in the business district) of Monaca. The building was many things including a vape shop, a used furniture store, and a kid’s arcade, among other things.
The space has seating for about 80, including about 18 at the 28-foot bar. Monaca is brewing on a 20 BBL brewhouse and five 20 BBL fermenters, which feed 12 taps at the bar. There will also be all PA liquor, wine, and specialty cocktails available.
For food, the brewery will be serving Steve and Bennys food. See the below menu for the items you can look forward to!
Monaca will also be canning soon, they already have the cans and supplies. Once the brewery is open for some time, they will start to focus on filling and releasing cans each week.
