Opening Wednesday, February 19th at 327 Broadway in Bethlehem, Seven Sirens Brewing Company is a 12,000+ square foot space like no other. We recently met with Jordan Serulneck, Josh Drivers and Aaron Nelson to learn more about what the Lehigh Valley can expect once Seven Sirens officially opens their doors.
Located in what was once a parking garage (and a former car dealership and hospital) this space will soon house the 7 barrel brewery and taproom. Their 24 tap draft system will offer a wide variety of beers from light to dark styles. The brewery plans to offer 7 different flagships as well! Which is where the name comes from. Sirens for the Greek mythological creature and seven for the number of flagship beers. As we were told, “this is beer that sings to you.”
No matter your flavor palette the goal of Seven Sirens is to have you leaving satisfied and enjoying your experience every time. With eight 7 barrel fermenters, they should have no issues keeping up with the 24 flowing taps.
Pictured above is the central location of the bar and taproom. The bar was handcrafted in Ireland over 100 years ago. The brewery restored the bar from its previous location in the old Shamrock Inn which was located down the road from their space.
We were lucky enough to taste the beer being brewed by head brewer/ owner Josh. And we believe that Lehigh Valley is in for a treat. We enjoyed their 6% “Weast Coast” IPA. A West and East coast hybrid. Brewed with a combination of SEVEN hops; Bravo, Citra, Galaxy, German Hallertau Blanc, German Mandarina, Horizon, and Mosaic
Unlike most breweries, Seven Sirens will offer 19.2-ounce cans
Rounding out their offerings will be PA made wines and spirits. However, the expectation of this brewery isn’t to strictly just offer a wide variety of liquid. The brewery will also house a live music stage to set the mood. With capacity for over 300 guests, you can expect this location to quickly become the place to be when in the area.
While not offering a full food menu, they have taken food into consideration of construction on the building. The brewery will be building a food truck window! That’s right, food trucks will be able to drive right up to the building and serve their food directly into the brewery without customers having to step outside. The Seven Sirens staff may not be serving you your food, but with this setup, you’d never know!
With all of the excitement coming from this location there is probably no better way to sum it up than this video the brewery posted on their Facebook page recently:
Accompanying the location will be the breweries 4,000 square foot roof deck on top of the building. Construction is still ongoing on the space, however with scenery that overlooks all of Southside Bethlehem the space is sure to make a statement for many to remember.
More than anything Jordan, Josh and Aaron are a great trio. They are passionate about this project and are the type of people this industry was built by. Hardworking, down to earth individuals that deserve the support when their brewery officially opens their doors.
Can’t make it to the brewery? Make sure to follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and their website to stay up to date on their growth.
