Groove Brewing’s New Location Is Now Open In Scranton

Groove Brewing’s brand new Scranton location is now open at 1401 Sanderson Avenue.

This new space is just a few minutes from their original location at 1344 Washington Avenue, which will now close.

We recently spoke with co-owner Ed Generose to get all the details on the new space, and the upgraded brewery!

Moving from an old house on the first floor, Groove Brewing has made quite the upgrade in location and brew house, upgrading from a 1BBL to a 5BBL brewhouse. The new location at Sanderson Avenue is a former automotive garage with about 4,000 sq/ft, with about 3,000 sq/ft for the taproom, and room for around 100 people.

The brand-new bar has 10 taps and seating for about 10 guests. For beers, Groove Brewing is across the board with styles they will have on. Ed said they want to have a few hazy IPAs, and a few lagers on at all times, with at least 5 rotating taps.

Groove will continue to offer crowlers at the new location. They will also have cans possibly in the near future. For food, they plan to have a limited house menu but they will arrange regular food trucks for guests.
