Harrisburg Beer Week Has Been Discontinued

Harrisburg Beer Week has been officially discontinued. (See the official announcement below the group made on Facebook.)

Started in 2015, the group operated for 6 years and ran a 10 day beer week in April in the greater Harrisburg area. Their mission was to help the local craft beer industry in Harrisburg and to also benefit Harrisburg River Rescue.

Showcasing breweries, restaurants, pubs, and more through craft beer-centric events, demonstrations, and education, the group was able to raise almost $200,000 for their recipient. Each year had brought more than 200+ events to explore, such as tap-takeovers, beer dinners, special beer releases, beer fests, and more.

One of the most exciting parts of the week was the annual 717 Beer Collab. Where multiple breweries from the region joined forces to produce a beer in honor of Central PA’s finest craft beer celebration.

We raise our glasses to Harrisburg Beer Week, thank them for all they have done over the years, and look forward to hearing all the stories that beer fans have had over the years at all their events.
