On December 12th, 2021, from 12-4 PM, the first (Milk) Tube-A-Thon will be held at Human Robot in Philadelphia, raising money in support of Hops For Hunger.
As you may remember, during the month of November Feeding PA, PA Eats, and Breweries In PA partnered with 21 breweries for the first Hops For Hunger, to raise funds for Pennsylvanians facing hunger.
The idea for (Milk) Tube-A Thon is pretty fun. Human Robot has popularized a different take on the traditional Czech Mlíko beer pour, calling them “Milktubes”. This treat is served at the bar as a celebratory drink in the vein of a shot, but with an ode to classic lager drinking. (More about Mliko pours and side pull taps here!) The proceeds from every milktube poured will be donated to Hops for Hunger.
During the event expect Tube-themed raffles, live Tuba music, and a real-time scoreboard counting each MilkTube poured.
